Feeling anxious?
Before anything else, this is a reminder that you’re not alone in this. Anxiety can be so overwhelming, I know. Remember-
This is just a moment, and the moment will pass.
Food, water and breath are my top recommendations for starting to manage anxiety. Drink a big glass of water, have a small snack and try to focus on your breath. Below I linked a video to guided breath work, i’ve found this to help me even in the worst moments of anxiety. I know it may feel impossible to get out of, but remember you are not alone in this. Deep breaths, you are soooo very loved.
How does something as simple as breathing help relive what I’m experiencing?
Depending on what stage of anxiety your feeling, there are many other powerful tools to help cope. In the midst of a panic attack, breath is the only way out. But if you feel anxiety coming on, there are ways to prevent it from reaching the point of an attack.
