Feeling happy?

That’s a great place to start. If you’re in a good mood, it’s a great time to do some dream-boarding, goal-setting and reflecting. Doing this when you’re In a bad mood can filter the lens in which you see your path. Take out a journal and follow along for some fun & light writing prompts. feel free to skip over anything that doesn’t align with you, write an essay (or a book?) for anything that brings up repressed emotions or self discovery. This is just a prompt to get you started, where you take it is up to you!

  1. What are the “details” or small things in life that bring you joy? Try to list 10 things. If you find this difficult, you may be caught in tunnel vision. Go back to your senses, what do you hear/smell/taste/touch that makes you feel at peace?

  2. When is the last time that you gave without expectation of receiving? How often do you shift your attention towards doing something for others rather than yourself?

  3. How do you feel about your current state of health/ well being? What are some movements you could integrate to feel stronger / more confident in your own skin? What are some things you could eat more (or less) of in order to better serve your mind and body?

  4. When is the last time you felt angry with someone? Can you go back to that moment and ask yourself- was that act or concept something you used to do, currently do or want to do in the future?

When we feel a strong emotion, it can typically be drawn back to either past present or future. For example, whenever concepts about “home” are being talked about, I tend to feel envy and jealously. I don’t have a home base, so a simple conversation about someone missing their bed can make me feel pain.
